New performers announced

The Recording Academy confirmed three additional performers for the show: Lady Gaga, ROSÉ and Tyler, The Creator.

  • Lady Gaga returns to the Grammys stage as a 14-time winner who is nominated seven times this year, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year for MAYHEM.
  • ROSÉ makes her first-time Grammy performance as a three-time nominee, including Record and Song of the Year for “APT.”
  • Tyler, The Creator — a two-time Grammy winner — is nominated six times, including Album of the Year for CHROMAKOPIA.

These additions build on an already stacked performer list and bring a mix of pop, alternative and hip-hop to the ceremony.

What to watch: nominations and performances

Several performers are also nominees this year, increasing the stakes for live sets. Bruno Mars, confirmed to perform, is nominated for three awards for the track “APT.” Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyler, The Creator are among other high-profile nominees who will appear.

The show will also feature a Best New Artist segment showcasing finalists Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR and The Marías.

The ceremony plans meaningful tributes during the In Memoriam segment. Ms. Lauryn Hill will perform to honor artists including D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. A special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will feature Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan and Slash. Reba McEntire, joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson, will also take part in the memorial tribute.
