Attack on Titan brings its world to Awaji Island
Nijigen no Mori, the anime theme park inside Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park on Awaji Island, will host a limited-time collaboration event with the hit TV anime Attack on Titan in Spring 2026. The reveal, announced by Nijigennomori Inc., promises immersive attractions, themed food and exclusive merchandise that bring the series’ dark fantasy setting to life.
Night attraction: THE NIGHT WALK -Beyond the Walls-
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the nighttime attraction Attack on Titan THE NIGHT WALK -Beyond the Walls-. Visitors will walk a 1.2 kilometer forest route transformed by projection mapping, sound design and other immersive technologies. Along the trail, scenes and characters from the anime guide participants as they take on a mission to reclaim freedom from the Titans.
The experience culminates in a reward: participants who complete the mission will receive an original novelty item exclusive to the event. Organizers say the walk is designed to feel cinematic and interactive, using the park’s natural surroundings to heighten the atmosphere.
Daytime attraction, food and merchandise
A separate daytime attraction is planned but details are still being finalized. Nijigen no Mori will also offer themed food and merchandise inspired by popular Attack on Titan characters such as Eren Yeager and Levi. Organizers have said more information — including the full list of food items, merch drops and the daytime program — will be announced in the lead-up to the event launch.
When and where
The collaboration runs for a limited time starting in Spring 2026 at Nijigen no Mori, located within Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park (2425-2 Kusumoto, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan). Opening hours and ticketing information will be released closer to the event.
